We have that job for you. We are looking for a driven back-end WordPress developer to manage, improve, and further develop our (international) websites. You will have the space to come up with as many good ideas as you like, try them out, start projects and spar with colleagues.

In addition to your knowledge of WordPress, you are an awesome colleague who enjoys working together in project teams to solve complex challenges. You are independent, optimistic, and easily make the connection between different systems, such as Hubspot and the development flow.

This is what we are looking for, you...

• You have a degree in web development
• Gutenberg block development can't keep any secrets from you
• You know all about OOP and design patterns
• You have knowledge of APIs, Authentication and integrations with third party tools
• You have a working knowledge of MySQL and WordPress database architecture
• You have experience with modern development tools and methods, such as Git, composer and Docker
• You know all about the use of front-end technologies, including CSS and JavaScript / ES6
• You are a pro in PHP for custom WordPress development

Happy customers are extremely important to us. For years, Voys has been one of the fastest growing technology companies in the Netherlands and we owe that to the people who use our business telephony services. So we take good care of them.

Without a perfectly functioning website, quality customer service doesn't happen. And that's exactly why we need you: our customers rate us with 8.9. But, of course, we want to stay at the top.

What you'll do

It's not really a surprise, but those websites are where we really need you. We work on our (international) websites every day, which include a multi-site set-up. Because of the complexity, it is important that you can switch quickly between different systems.

We currently work with the Roots stack (Trellis, Bedrock, Sage). Do you have knowledge of Laravel? Handy, because Sage partly uses it. We assume you are well versed in the WordPress APIs, but also want to write modern PHP. And one important detail: you're not afraid of merge conflicts.

Also important: you're not averse to a little DevOps, like configuring Gitlab CI/CD and hosting sites on AWS. And if you want to get loose with Unit Testing and Integration Testing then you are officially the perfect man or woman for this job.
